In practice, the differences between the offers of exchange offices are relatively small, which is mainly due to the simplicity of their operation and limited functionality. Our list must therefore necessarily contain a certain dose of subjectivity.

Assessing the safety and convenience of using exchange offices causes more problems than in the case of cryptocurrency exchanges, because there are fewer functions and solutions that could be evaluated by them. Therefore, in our analyses, we took into account, m.in, the time of the entity’s operation on the market, the transparency of its website, the course of transactions, available methods of depositing and withdrawing funds, as well as contact with support and its involvement in providing answers regarding the technical aspects of the exchange office’s operation.

In the case of costs, we take into account the attractiveness of cryptocurrency rates, especially bitcoin (for this purpose, we calculate spreads in the exchange office), and the type and amount of other fees charged by the service provider.

Our assessment is complemented by the selection of cryptocurrencies available in individual exchange offices. However, we emphasize that investors interested in this way of buying or selling crypto should focus on the most popular assets with the largest capitalization, i.e. primarily bitcoin and ethereum. Less popular assets are available at unattractive rates, which makes investing in them, even long-term, not very profitable.

When it comes to these issues, we primarily analyze the profiles of exchange offices on social media, comments and ratings of their users, as well as opinions appearing on industry websites. Since this is a fairly subjective area, it has no impact on the score of a given offer.
Does the ranking include cryptocurrency exchanges without verification?
Today, there are practically no reliable exchanges or exchange offices that would allow for truly anonymous cryptocurrency trading. In both cases, in order to be able to conclude a transaction, you usually need to provide certain data (e.g., phone number or email address to authorize the transaction) or make a payment for crypto, which inevitably strips the operation of full anonymity.

These are primarily Bitcoin ATMs (stationary, ATM-like, crypto transaction devices), but also some online cryptocurrency exchange offices.
